Is it just me or are map packs wrecking games by fragmenting the user limiting the gamers playing a online game. Im talking like COD, BF4, TF and more. Gone are the good days of buying a game and playing it till it dies. Eg. BF4 a quarter of the servers playing in oz are map pack servers the rest no map packs. This just seems pointless. I miss the old CS days where maps were just added in with updates everyone had every map. I love FPS but I hate paying for a game I already paid for. I know I don't need map packs. But shouldn't everyone playing a game have best possible experience. Maybe I'm a sook and need to spend more money, I just really think this is having a detrimental effect on online shooters.

Most people think map packs/DLC are annoying on First person shooters but without them the game would of costed more in the first place and some people would rather not have to pay more for the game and only pay the extra bit if they want more features.
