So here are the parts I've chosen

CPU:Intel Core i7-4790K
CPU COOLER:Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (120mm)
MB: Mod 1150 ASUS Z97-A ATX Motherboard
GPU GTX 780 TI
PSU:Corsair CP-9020056-UK RM Series RM850 80 Plus Gold 850W ATX/EPS Fully Modular Power Supply Unit
HDD:Seagate Barracuda 2 TB
SSD:Crucial CT240M500SSD1 240GB
RAM: HyperX Predator Series
CASE: Cooler Master Haf X

My only concern is the motherboard atm, should I go for something more expensive and if so wich one. Or is the one i've picked out perfectley fine for this build?

Hey Mythras, your config seems fine, really good...

but there is some little things you could do or wait, I felt by coincidence on another Tom's Hardware topic were another folk with a similar rig, http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2242980/msi-z97-g55-sli-setup-asrock-asus-z97.html

As the user Mr_inflexible say and I totally agree you should invest more for the Asrock z97 Extreme 4 http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/mainstream-gaming-z97-motherboard,3824-27.html

and wait for the GTX 800 series. I basically just repeated what he says but never mind.

For the case: I bought once a Cooler master haf X for a computer I was assembling for a client, its a really nice tower it ventilate well they are nice and all... but I...

I payed around 200 swiss francs in the time I bought, I find today they are a bit obsolete and atrociously ugly and to big, its up to you to see, I don't have right now an Idea of what could be better I will do some research, but you should always keep in mind of a future upgrade (Buying another gtx 800 something for example and making a sli config) than you would instead prefer invest a more powerful Power supply 1000watts and more and a well ventilate case with enough space for 2 giants graphic card.

The asrock Is compatible sli so its already a thing less.

Greetings

Well the board has 5 way optimization so it can automatically overclock to recommended. Id also be overclocking the gpu (I already have the 780 ti, got it as a gift)

First for the case I took the first one from newEgg it looks a beast and its cheaper: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021&ignorebbr=1&cm_re=PPSSBGDRYLXVJN-_-11-129-021-_-Product

so if you already goth the Graphic card the power supply pass fine for a future eventully future sli

And I would still recommend the Asrock motherboard instead of the Asus

To the user that called me inflexible have a good time waiting for the gtx 800 series. There is no 800 series. They skipped it and went to 900. 970 and 980 are out with the low end cards to follow. You don't need 1000w unless your rubbing two 300w cards in sli and overclocking. Its moronic to suggest a 500w max system would need that

Wow ok thank you for correcting me than, I'm a bit rusted with the news. for the 1000 watts I would suggest that just for planning well ahead, we never know what GC are coming the next few years
