I have recently read an article on internet that says Samsung 840 EVO has very low read speeds on old files from SSD.
[(QUESTION : CAN I PLAY GAMES LIKE BF3 ON 840 EVO SSD)]
Is it true?
If yes is there a fix?
Does it happens on the 128 GB version of 840 evo?

As far as I am concerned, the EVO is a NO BUY. My 500gb is merely 5 weeks old and the first ~100gb of the drive reads under 100MB/s on hd tune pro. What garbage!

I have read there there is a problem with the controller and TLC implementation, and it only affect Samsung TLC drives

but knowing that your drive will have this bug, how can it be recommended UNTIL the fix is out and confirmed effective?
