Hello, I am on the last part of building my pc and i am stuck on the gpu. I hear that the R9 280X is better than GTX 760. But to me they look about the same. Is the GTX 770 better than both? I am trying to keep budget 750$ or less. I am a gamer and would like to play Titanfall, The Forest, GMOD, and other games on at least high settings at 1080p. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Here is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/P2NFbv

With no doubt , if you're a gamer so price should be your second problem! !
And performance should be all you need and believe me none of them are compare to R9 280X specially the latest msi or asus products
But as other guys said if money is your first problem,so go for that

Ok thank you! I thought the 970 would be 800 or so since its new. So I wont have any problems with anything with the R9 280X? And i probably am going to play Dying Light. So 970 would be best?

They skipped the 800 series and released the 900 series. I would get a 970 for the same price or a little more than the 280x because the performance you get with it is solid for the price. It out performs the GTX 780 and R9 290x.

The case comes with 1 fan, you could add more if you wanted but it really isn't needed. You could add some led fans to give it a nice look if you wanted to.

Windows 8 is slightly faster than 7, has longer support, and will support DirectX 10 when it comes out.

Sorry im asking another thing but lets say I wanted to build a gaming pc with a budget of 550 max. Would that be able to run Titanfall and The Forest and other on at least high 1080p?

I'm not OP, but I just wanted to extend my thanks to you, RazerZ, as your above build featuring the GTX 970 is absolutely perfect for what I've been looking for. One question, though: Would you recommend an upgrade from the i5-4430 to the -4460? I'm noticing that they're basically the same price, but I wasn't sure if the -4430 was still considered superior.

No. The Z87 motherboard would need a BIOS update for the 4460 and it may not recognize the CPU.

There is no real performance difference between the two, the 4460 has a slightly higher clock.

If you have any further questions I'd be happy to help you if you open a new thread :)

Hey RazerZ. I am ready to start buying parts for my pc and I was wondering if my build was good
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JdyxVn
My budget is 600$. And I am wondering if the air flow well be good enough, If there are any deflects with any of my parts, If the motherboard is good (I dont know how to buy the "right" motherboard) and ive heard many bad things about the 260X and was wondering if I should stick with it or get a different video card it seems powerful and very good for the price. Thanks!
Games Im planning on playing: The Forest, GMOD, Fallout, Maybe Dying Light, Arma 3, Titanfall.

The graphics card is better than a R7 265 and slightly behind a R9 270. The airflow should be sufficient.
