Hello everyone:

New as a posting member, long-time lurker here...deciding its time to upgrade my dinosaur comp, and I am considering building it myself (though a little leery as I have never built one before). Anyways, I have been looking at some of the "pre-made" systems out there from some of the online places, and I have come up with a list (generated off of their pre-made comps and selectables), and as such I want to list it here and see what you fine folks think we can do on a price/cost basis.

The only thing I really do with a comp (since I am an old fart family man - no essay papers for me) is play some MMO games and a bit of web browsing, forum searching, etc., so I do not need anything that is capable of more than that. I do, however, want it to be able to run ArcheAge, Rift, WoW, and similar-style games on MAX settings. The game I am playing the most, and plan to play the most, is ArcheAge and this is vastly more GPU intensive than the other two (at least on my current comp?).

I also would like to stay <$1000, preferably in the $850-900 range, but again, if its worth the few extra bucks, then I certainly will chip in for it. I would also like this build to be relevant for the next 3-5 years (if that is even possible in today's technology age?).

Ok - here is the list....and I appreciate the input!

Yeah, I have been playing it since Patron status opened up, or at least trying to on my current comp. Queue times are ridiculous...hoping it dies down in the near future.

I noticed on pcpartpicker they have pre-made $800 builds...do you guys see anything wrong with what they have listed there?
