I have a Ubiquiti Air Router HP and I cannot access the settings. I can ping it and it all comes back fine. I have tried the ip address the manual says to use ( http://192.168.1.1) and also the one that comes back when I use IPconfig(192.168.145.1) and both say page cannot be displayed. I turned off my firewall, and also tried hooking the router directly to the computer with a cable. Still nothing. I've also tried it on my laptop and get the same. I don't want to reset the router unless I absolutely have to because I'm not sure if I can set it up again and I don't want to lose internet. This router was installed and set up by my internet company. Any suggestions? Also, I still have a lot to learn about computer language so if you could simplify answers for me it'd help a lot. Thanks!

Hi Wendi Wood!

Is it a router and modem combined provided my ISP?

Maybe you can try accessing 192.168.0.1?

If not, let me know the brand/model number of the router.

Good luck!

That page opened up just fine. I don't have a username and password for it though. It doesn't look like my routers page should according to my manual.
The brand is Ubiquiti and model is AirRouterHP. I had to buy it from my internet service provider because they said the one I had was not new enough.

Okay! It opened up, that's good news.

Try Usernames: cusadmin/admin/username
And try these passwords: [blank]/password

Let me know if you are able to access the settings!

Good luck! :)

Those usernames/passwords don't seem to work. I think I've tried every combination

Try "ubnt" as both username and password.

I tried that one too. Thats the one my manual says should work.

I guess the default must have been changed. If you want to set it up you'll have no choice but to reset it to default settings, unfortunately. :(

Thats what I was afraid of. I'm just worried that if I reset it I won't be able to get it back up and running. I've never done it before. Would it be difficult to set it up so my internet works again?

No, it wouldn't be.

You will only need to set up the SSID (name you want your Wi-Fi to appear as) and password. That's pretty much all.
