I have never overclocked before and have watched a bunch of videos on it. I want to overclock my new rig but am skeptical. I bought the AMD FX 8320 so I could OC to 4.0 Ghz to basically be a FX 8350. My rig:
AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
ASRock 990FX Killer ATX AM3+
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866
MSI Radeon R9 280 3GB TWIN FROZR
Rosewill 630W ATX12V / EPS12V
I was also worried about being short on wattage. The only thing I really want to over clock is my CPU and GPU(maybe). Just some advice and decent overclocks would be nice.
P.S. I wanted to know if I should overclock using the multiplier or change the frequency,
