It looks solid to me. If you can I would swap the GPU for a GTX 970. If you need to make room for it, switch the CPU to a locked i5. Having a GTX 970 paired with a locked i5 would be much better for gaming compared to an oced 4690k and a R9 280x.

The GTX 970 can outperform a R9 290x.

There's NO WAY I'd use the full 1tb hdd, I only play games ( little recording ) and I am going to upgrade with 250gb samsung evo 840 SSD when I have the cash

and also, would I not be better going for something like this? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/GsCPvK
price to performance wise

Looks good. You could get this IPS monitor instead which has a better display:

there are lots of 40+gb games out now and they keep getting bigger.

Also the fastest transfer speeds on a hard drive is the first ~third (typically over 120mb/s to under 60)

A 2TB is ~16 more and only 50% more than the first TB (http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/2TB+Toshiba+DT01ACA200+3.5%22+SATA+III+Hard+Drive+-+HDD+?productId=54258)

IPS is better for color accuracy and in general slower.

that said some IPS are better gaming monitors over TN, I did not research those monitors and the above is general rule of thumb.

I want a 2ms response time monitor as I play call of duty and It makes a small difference but it helps believe it or not hah, gives me that winning edge

You won't be able to see the difference b/t a 2ms and 5ms monitor.
