Actually i already have 2X1gb ram sticks and i am further planning to increase my ram to minimum 8gb. So should i buy 2X4gb or 1X8gb ram. 1X8gb will help me for future upgradation. Pls help...

Go with 2x4GB that way you have 8GB, and if the 2x1GB sticks will play with the new, then it's a bonus and you'll have 10GB all in dual channel rather than playing in flex mode with some in dual and some in single channel mode which can be detrimental to performance

you should use ram kits. I have seen articles that say sometimes mismatched ram (even same brand, model, speeds) can have issues.

that said, 1x4gb is not a bad option if will be longer time before funds available for 2x4gb

That motherboard has 4 slots, so 1x8 doesn't really provide you much of a benefit. Get 2x4 now and if you need to upgrade down the road, another 2x4 later (it's unlikely, unless you have very specific needs that you'll ever need more than 16GB before you swap out the motherboard). The 2x1s aren't really a factor - there's not really much of a benefit to using them at all given that the difference between 8 and 10 is nearly irrelevant and mixing and matching RAM is a frequent source of nagging, obnoxious PC issues.
