Hi I'm planning a new build.
Intel i5-4460
Msi gtx 970
Corsair vengeance 8gb
Nzxt phantom 530.
Corsair rm750

I'm not able to decide between the h97 and z97. And i wont SLI in the near future. So is it worth the extra money??

Z97 allows you to overclock. So Z97.

GO FOR Z97 allowing you to O.C. and supports cross fire and SLI all of these considering your future upgrades there isn't much diff. b/w their price.

the i5 4460 wont bottleneck my GPU right? and is the 750w psu overkill or is it alright?

well, you get non-k cpu and u didnt looking for sli supports
so h97 will be good for u.

you dont need 750w monster level psu...but base on the graphic you get, 550 is good enough

You dont need a change of PSU but seasonic 620 watt is a good choice.

ok...well,before going to buy it, go to: http://www.coolermaster.outervision.com/
fill the data about your rig and see how much power it needed. if it is above 620 or at the range of 600(550-600) you better dont choose that.
i think your 750w psu is enough

online power calculator are crap different sites gives different results.

gtx 970 145 watt + cpu 84 watt + other peripheral 50 - 100 watt max so with 750 watt is enough for powering 2x gtx 970 with OC and his processor is locked so no oc there .
Max wattage the system will draw is around 320 - 350 watt at load.
