I have a M5A99FX Pro R2.0 mobo

I also have a ASUS Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 w/ DirectCU II

and I have:
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B

I can't get my graphics card to recognize so I just have a pixelated screen, so I can't even get into bios to set everything up. Do I HAVE to have two of the same graphics cards in order for it to work? Or is my RAM not right? I get the bios device led light coming on. I also get the beeps of a hardware issue going on I think, or its the vga beeps.

Solution
No, you don't need two video cards to get it working.

You should be able to get into BIOS without issue, make sure you have both PCI-E power connectors properly connected to your video card and try again.

Otherwise there could be some EMI causing the pixelated image but most likely that video card is damaged.

Find out what beep code you're getting using your mobo manual, there should be info about it under the troubleshooting section or similar.
