First of all this is my 1st build so I'm a bit of a newbie at this. I'd like to build a PC primarily geared for online gaming with a budget around the 1000 euro mark. My aim is to create a system which can give me great FPS for the next few years and also be open to eventual upgrades such as installing a second GPU or possible overclocking (though I don't think I need it). I do not mind spending money where its worth it if I can save some money in other places where the expensive options are not really necessary. I'm a little bit uncertain regarding motherboard. This is what I'm thinking of getting:
Form factor: ATX Socket: 1150
CPU: i5 4670k/4690k
Motherboard: Possibly MSI Z97S SLI PLUS Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
GPU: MSI GTX 970 GAMING Twin Frozr V 4GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Graphics Card
SDD: Crucial MX100 128GB SATA 2.5” 7mm SSD
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache
PSU: HX Series HX850 Power Supply — 850 Watt 80 PLUS® Gold Certified Modular PSU
Optical drive: LiteOn IHAS124-14 24x SATA Dual Layer DVD Writer
Case: I am really not sure about case. I will probably have to buy this locally to avoid shipping costs which limits my choice. I really like the NZXT range but may have to go for something cheaper.
Cooling: I am not planning on getting any additional cooling.
