I have had this problem ever since I formatted my computer. I thought it was a mistake so I formatted it again, but came to the same problem. I can almost always connect to the network because I have managed to set it up, but even when connected I get the same message. Sometimes, though, I do get disconnected for a few seconds and then reconnected. On some occasions I have to reboot to regain access to the connection. Can someone help me solve this please?

It's a wireless network, I'm using a Lynksis adapter. Connected to a home router, to which several laptops flawlessly connect to through a wireless connection.

wifi is sometimes flakey. so many different specifications trying to coexist in same hardware sometimes shows up in strange ways.

that and so many things can be at fault, very hard to diagnose. I'd keep an eye out for a cheap replacement wifi-n and see if problem is the laptop or wifi base.

personally I would run a wire (if at all an option)

A new PCI(-e) wifi adapter or wireless base station to rule them out as the problem is my second choice

the cable isn't exactly an option since the router is on a different room and i would have to run cables through the hall and doors, meaning i couldn't close them :p
however i will look for your second choice.
Thanks! :D
