I want to increase my video dedicated ram so I can play better games, but all the tut say do f1,2,3,4, and none of them work, no del button, also f2 is windows help screen. (to get to bios)
UPDATE 1: Intel, I found the BIOS but all memory settings are locked. I don't seen anything about video ded ram.

Solution
If your using a GPU from nVidia or AMD, the video memory cannot be upgraded.

If your using an onboard GPU from Intel, nVidia or AMD and it shares system memory, then an option is normally found within the bios to allocate system memory for use by the GPU, some also adjust the system memory used on the fly, as and when required.

A laptop with 4GB ram, it is best not to allocate more than 256MB of ram, as overall performance will suffer.
