At $800 this machine will be able to push BF4 at ultra/1080p/60fps, no problem.

Some changes for this to work well:

Get an h97 board. There are h97 boards the same price as this B85 board and have WAY more features and are newer.

While that PSU is ok for budget builds, I do not recommend it for this build. An XFX 550 would be much better here.

Otherwise its a solid build and should max most games.

I wouldn't recommend a 500W PSU. Especially when it is 28.99 USD. You need a high quality PSU, get an EVGA Supernova B2 750w. (600w min for the GTX 970) Other than that what blue17echo said is a decent build. It would be nice to get an i5 4690k and OC it a bit but then you would need to get a better mobo. Anyway 800 dollars isnt a great budget but you should get by with blueecho's reply.

No, you DO NOT need 750w for this build. a quality 500-550w PSU is PLENTY here. No need for more.

You have no need for a K series CPU or overclocking. It won't even gain you any real performance in this build.

OP, the locked i5 will max any and all current games no problem. Overclocking is a hobby.

A Corsair 300r is a VERY good and simple looking case that is amazing quality. I use one and love it.

Also, do I have to over clock, cause I don't really want to

He also didn't give me a CPU fan, or do I need one?

No, you can't overclock that CPU anyway.

the CPU comes with a cooler. No need to buy an aftermarket one.

If you make the changes I listed to the build posted, no, everything is good.
