HP Envy h8-1414 Upgrade to 4k - Desktop - AMD - Need advice to upgrade graphics and power supply.

HI,

I use a HP ENVY h8-1414 Desktop PC for my work pc, purchased back in 9/2012.

I want to upgrade to a 4k display and also use my 1920x1080 samsung display.
I have a Dell 27" 4K Monitor.

The computer Specs:
CPU: AMD Fx 6120 Six Core - 3.50 GHZ 10 gig ram with Windows 8.1 64 bit
Motherboard: Gigabyte - M3970AM-HP
Graphics - AMD Radeon HD 7450
Power Supply - 300W (100v-240v) - Internal ATX

What would you recommend for a good video card and upgraded power supply, instead of getting a new PC.

Plain and simple, the CPU here is not powerful enough to support the GPU(s) you need for 4k gaming.

You cannot upgrade this computer to successfully play at 4k.

Sorry.

IF you only want to use a 4k display, but not play any games at all, that may be possible.

Yes, this is for work only. Outlook, web and light 2d photoshop image editing.

You are looking for something like a gtx760 and a 500w PSU from antec, XFX, antec.

Photo editing might be rough at that res with that CPU. I would not count on it.

I'll look into those, thank you. The image editing i'm talking about is resizing, and light touch up, nothing fancy.
90% of the time using outlook, excel and web browser.

You have no idea what you are talking about. A gtx650 doesn't even support 4k. It CLEARLY says it right there eon the page YOU linked. Max res is 2560x1600.

He NEEDS a 7xx card or better.
