SS Siberia v2 microphone - quality if using the motherboard's sound card?

Hello!

I don't want to spend the money on a cheap sound card, and I don't have the money for a good one at the moment.

So, I was wondering, if I buy the SS Siberia v2, how will the microphone sound with the onboard sound card?
Do you know any sample on the internet? It would be great.

I really want this headset, but I am just wondering if the mic is really having some static/hissing sound, and how the quality the voice is.

It will be impossible to know what it sounds like through a recording since it will be recorded and played through a set of speakers after being compresed. What you will hear is how that headset sounds like after you record it, upload it and then play it back on your computer...

What you will hear is how that headset sounds like after you record it, upload it and then play it back on your computer not what it will actually sound like.

Look for a review of the headset and go by that if you are worried abut mic issues.
