Hello,

I used to play Borderlands 2 on my computer but after I resetted my computer back to factory settings (because the audio card wasn't working anymore and I couldn't update to windows 8.1) I can only play for a few minutes. The game crashes my computer after 5-10 minutes.

I have tried a lot of different things but nothing seems to work.

Can someone help me please? (sorry for English, I'm from Holland)

PS. after resetting my computer everything else works fine

Try re-installing the game as it may of not installed correctly.
Also if you have the game on disk, the disk might be damaged and you might have to either buy the game again or get the disk repaired.
It might also be your operating system if you updated it. What operating system were you using when it worked and what are you using now?

When it crashes what error is it giving you? Click details on the window that pops up. If it's an APPHANG then there are a few things you need to do with .ini file.
Most likely if it crashing and not hanging you have a bad or missing driver. Since you rolled back your pc anything you udated since the time you went back to has been removed and returned to it's original state.
Also try playing it in compatibility modes like xp sp2, or vista.

I have re-installed the game with the disk but that didn't help either. I've looked at the disk but it doesn't seem damaged. Before I was running windows 8 and now I'm running windows 8.1

It doesn't give an error because my computer shuts down. I have to push the power button and when it has started I don't get an error.
I have updated all the drivers and tried it on compatibility modes xp and vista, but then I get the error that xp/vista are not running on my computer so that doesn't work either.

If your pc is actually shutting down then you may have a psu issue.
