Will a Sound Card Help Me or....?

For years I used a basic headset that plugged directly into the standard speaker and mic ports. I attached a splitter to stereo speaker line and ran my speakers at the same time. I simply turned the speaker's volume control up or down depending on whether I wanted to use the speakers or the headphones.

Now I've bought a Logitec G930 Wireless Gaming Headset (which is amazing!) but since it works though USB, I can no longer run my speakers and my headphones at the same time. I know I can switch back and forth through Windows' speaker settings but I'd really like to be able to run them both at the same time.

Are their any sound card's with this functionality? If not, is there a software solution to this. My OS is Windows 8.1.

No. If you're running with a USB sound card, you won't be able to use your sound card. You need a pair of headphones with just the sound jack to take advantage.
