Hello everyone! So I was basically wondering if there's any way to Underclock my PNY GTX 760 OC to it's default speed. Since a couple of games go above temperatures that are too hot for my personal liking, I would honestly love to reset my graphics card to it's default speed. Thanks in advance!

What kind of temps are you getting?

When I'm playing Watch Dogs, 73 degrees celsius. Which is perfectly normal.

It depends.

Watch Dogs went for 92C, I had to neuter the settings (Ultra 1080p to Low-Medium 900p) to reach around 76c-78c

I'm comfortable with anything below 82c.

That's insane man. Do you happen to have a reference blower syle cooler?

have you tried using msi afterburner to limit the temperature and frame-rate? You may also be able to under-clock it with that software, I'm not sure. Is your card still under warranty? This is quite risky, but you might be able to change the thermal paste and pads for some additional cooling. I wouldn't do that unless you're confident about what you're doing or willing to risk breaking your card.

Yeah, tried it before and it does help a bit, but sadly it does butcher the card in terms of performance quite a bit and some games still make the temperatures go up. Although around yesterday I managed to limit the clock from 1500 to 980 and that worked pretty decently. ^_^
