Hello,

I'm a first-timer looking for advice on a build. The parts for this were selected based off of reading and forum posts that seemed to agree that these parts were pretty good for the price. Right now I'm not prioritizing any super graphics-intensive games, but want to be open to future game purchases. I mainly play large-scale strategy (like Total War games, Civilization) but also will probably move toward other favorites like Skyrim, as well as be able to run Civ: Beyond Earth when it comes out.
Also, I do not have any experience overclocking and I do not really plan on doing any.

Budget: Around $600 (excluding OS, monitor, other peripherals).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cool, thanks for the help!

Is 8 gb the "standard" for a mid-level build? I've seen some back and forth on 4 vs. 8 gb.
