Hey everyone ,

So my computer is built and running perfectly but I still have excess funds left on the best buy gift cards I had, about $200. I was wondering if running two evga gtx 750 ti graphics cards would be worth it ? I have nothing else to spend my money on and I was told by someone that running two of these cards as opposed to just the one I have would greatly increase my computers performance.

Thanks for the help in advance

you can't run 2 750ti's in such a way as to increase your performance. They are not designed for SLI, 760 and above is however.

you should have an sli bridge with the mobo, a little flexible circuit board. However if you can afford two 760's then get a 970 or even a 980 instead. Fewer problems, better performance.

not in the US. in the UK 760's are about £160 each, and a 980 is £430, but a 970 is £260 so one 970 is cheaper than two 760's.

The 970 performs a little worse than the 780ti. If you assume that the 760's would scale by maybe 80% in SLI then you'll see than a predicted SLI 760 is about the same as a 970 but at lower cost, with less power usage, less heat, less SLI related problems.

The gtx 980 starts at 550$ and the 970 starts at 330$, that's the price for all brands (starting). If you can afford two 760s go for it (4gb for future proofing), If not go with the 980, if not go with 970. They are all high performance and would get you what you want. It's always better to get a single strong gpu.

Thanks. I'll probably get a 970, but currently newegg is out of stock on all 970 and 980 cards
