Well yesterday i bought an acer aspire V5 :
Intel i3, 3rd generation
Geforce 710m
4gb of ram
750gb harddrive...
With windows 8 i have searched for anwsers and tried things like changing the baterry settings, updating the drivers... But a it only happens sometimes for example:

- It pretty much only happens when i play a game called leagueoflegends.

-It does not happens when i use an ethernet cable to connect to the internet.

-It doesn't happen when i dowload things like a game.

I really don't think my wifi card is the problem here since it only happens when i play an online game. If you know what is causing this please tell me what to do.

Solution
Hi there Sebis99!

I would not completely agree with jackstrr up there saying that Wi-Fi is "extremely unstable and shouldn't be used for online gaming".

Wi-Fi has developed pretty well to a point that you can play online games over it, as long as you have a good router.

The most common problem is router, if the router is bad/inconsistent, the quality of internet would definitely not be good.

To address your issue, League of Legends is stopping to use a software called Pando Media Booster. It is supposed to speed up patch downloads.

I suggest you go to your Control Panel and uninstall "Pando Media Booster," as it installs along with the LoL client.

Let me know how things work! Good luck! :)

Don't go WiFi ever especially when gaming, you will regret it in the near future, WiFi is unstable and you should use Cat 5e Cable and have a decent router with gigabit ports, and make sure you NIC has gigabit ports

If you have a good enough router that broadcasts 5 GHz Wi-Fi with 801.11ac support, you will find it work perfectly in the future. More and more devices (iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus for example) are supporting 801.11ac and it'll basically be as good as connecting with a CAT 5e Ethernet cable. Make sure you network card supports 801.11ac.

I personally play fast internet demanding games and I play on Wi-Fi, like millions of gamers on Earth.

And what if you're in a situation that you are unable to use Ethernet cord to connect to the internet (computer too far away from modem/router location)? Wi-Fi was invented for a reason.

Good luck Sebis99! :)

While a physical connection may be preferred, a WiFi connection can be quite stable, and used for gaming, and anything else.

I've had my fair share of problems with WiFi and I really don't recommend it, while yes it can be used for gaming but it's not consistent enough for gaming either, latency spike will occur on a regular basis and you will most likely disconnect a fair amount of times, from what he has said he can connect to Ethernet in range as he test it, go Ethernet, it's consistent in speeds, it more reliable, even if the cable doesn't reach invest in some 500 Mb/s powerline adapters, they will do the job just fine.

No hate on WiFi at all it's pretty good in some situations like mobility but Ethernet wins in mostly all situations.

I'll try to play from another wifi connection to see if my pc is the problem or my router (i do hope the router is the problem) :)
