How is this build for a primarily gaming based, and a little video editing on the side PC? On a budget. Cannot go over this final price in case you recommend other products. Thanks!

It will run games fine, but definitely not an amazing PC. It would be a good entry level gaming. However this build will probably run better and do a much better job at video editing with the extra cores:

you can do a lot better with that budget Intel is way ahead of AMD at this price it only makes sense to go for Intel CPU

I'm not extremely knowledgeable on motherboards, I generally suggest the ASRock Extreme4 because it is the one I have and I love it. Both of those boards actually have the same rating of 4.6/5 stars, however the Gigabyte has more reviews. I see no differences besides that the ASRock has a built in overclocking feature in the BIOS.
