My Goals were
1) Small size, somewhat quiet, and doesn't double as space heater
2) 1080p games at High/Ultra (50+frames)
3) Wanted parts that had the best bang for my buck

Currently I only play League of Legends and heavy multitasking but I'd like a machine that will last a while and left the option for next gen games if I ever wanted to try one out. Doubt I will ever overclock it.

This will be my first time building a pc, it is an iTX build so I am a little concerned about my ability to do it correctly. I am not on a budget but I am not an enthusiast gamer so anything more than 1200 is going to be a pretty hard sell.

Recommendations/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Solution
buy an H90. i found the lower end ones aren't great and tend to "sound" like there's a little liquid missing. ( don't know if they fixed that or not ) forget the paste. if you need some try radio shack in a pinch. the stuff that comes on the corsair is good enough. or if you really want some, try zalman super thermal grease.
