Hello everyone!
I´m thinking on buying a new graphic card to my computer so i can play my games with a better quality video/image and at the same time, work on my architectural projects on REVIT and AutoCAD (2013 version).
Someone gave a very good review on the NVIDIA GTX 770 with 2GB, but i´m not sure abuot this... a friend´s neighbour is willing to sell me his brand new Radeon HD 7970 with 3GB for $250 bucks, and i´ve also found a used NVIDIA GTX 770 2 GB for $200 on crigslist...
For which one should i go? What´s the best bang for the buck? My limit is $300. Can anyone help me?
Thanks a lot!

I would say the 7970 as it offers more VRAM. It might be a bit big and get hot, though.

Yeah the 7970 gets hot but it is a decent card with a decent performance, you can max the settings in almost all games with decent frame rates. (decent means not very impressive) try to look at the new GTX 970, I would love to have one of those cards with low power consumption.

Yeah, but the cheapest one would be 10-20$ over limit.
OP, if you can stretch your budget by just a bit, the 970 would be the way to go. It will max out every game to come for the next 2-3 years.

Agree, I personally have a 7970 and I`m planning to get a GTX 970 or 980 but I cannot afford. huhu :)

I will save money for it. Yeah :)
