I have a sata cable hard wired to my pc case. Other end has (had) standard SATA plug that goes in the motherboard block. standard head has been broken. Can't change cable. how do I replace broken plug with new plug? How do I splice together two ends of SATA cable.

Thanks

One end of SATA is hard wired to case and is intended to work with an internal hard drive loading dock. Case is a Thermalake "Overseer RX-1". Other End of SATA cable (if the header/plug had not been snapped off) goes in MB. Was hoping there was a way to splice a new cable (with plug) to existing cable.

This make any sense?
