Hi,

i have changed my graphic card and now i do not get any sound from my PC.
i have already installed audio drivers and everything seems ok but no sound at all from speakers and headset. Few days ago i reset the bios by removing battery and replace it so maybe its about bios settings but i could not find a related options on bios screen.

Solution
Try uninstalling NVIDIA audio drivers that came with your card graphic drivers. I remember I had the strange issue where when I installed a NVidia graphics card, the sound stopped working but it worked after I uninstalled the nvidia sound hd audio drivers. You won't need the Nvidia HD audio drivers unless you were outputting sound through a HDMI cable to a tv or something.

If I ever have sound problems, one thing I do that fixes like 98% of all those issues is going into the bios and disabling the audio device. Once disabled I will simply restart my computer till the os boots up, restart my computer again to go into the bios, and re-enable my audio.
