So just recently I've been experiencing a bad lag issue while running dual monitors. On my second display I have nothing, and on the first display i have Minecraft or any game running max graphics. I have an Nvidia GTX 770 with 2 GB vram. I've tried to disable transparency but that hasn't worked. Thanks in advance.

More about : bad lag issue

Post your complete and detailed build including OS and monitors

Plus what ports on the 770 go to what ports on the monitors and whether you've used any adapters.

The Asus is 21.5in 1080p 60Hz with 5ms gtg response - http://www.asus.com/us/Monitors_Projectors/VS228HP/spec...
and HDMI , D-Sub, DVI-D input

The HP is 20in, 1600x900, 60Hz with ? response - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en...
and DVI-D and VGA input.

The gtx770 - http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt...
has One Dual Link DVI-I, One Dual Link DVI-D, One HDMI, One DisplayPort outputs

Have you got each monitor running at native resolution in Control Panel, Display Settings?

The Asus is connected from the 770's HDMI to the Asus' HDMI input?

The HP is connected from the 770's DVI-D (not DVI-I) to the HPs DVI-D input?

Yes, the Asus is connected from the 770's HDMI to the Asus' HDMI input.

What'd the difference between the DVI-D and DVI-I in the 770? (I'm using a regular DVI cable, and I'm not using the converter the 770 came with. I lost it)

OK then - looks like the monitors are hooked up OK.

Are they both enabled in Control Panel, Display settings?

OK - different tack - see how your hardware is running -

Download HWInfo and run Sensors. Post the results - usually 3 screenshots in TinyPic or similar

Also do a Checkdisk. And a virus scan eg Avast, Malwarebytes

This? And what's a Checkdisk? I've also already done a thorough virus scan via Malwarebytes.

Okay so the hwinfo site seems to be down, or I can't load it. And do I right click the C Drive in the Windows Explorer?

The only thing there is that your CPU (42C) is running a bit warm because your CPU fan is running a bit slow (767rpm)

Your ram, psu and GPU seem to be fine.

So everything is fine.

So why am I lagging when i run dual monitor? And how can I increase my rpm on my cpu fan?

You aren't lagging.

Use your bios/UEFI to change fan speed - http://www.asus.com/au/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_Z87/ - "ASUS-exclusive EZ Mode displays frequently-accessed info, so you can alter system performance settings and drag and drop boot priorities."

But I DO lag when I'm playing games.
