Warning and some things to consider, If you get the HP ENVY Phoenix you maybe sorry, 1st it comes with no user guide and HP has no user guides for none of their desktops, the only thing you get or that is available is a no text pictorial "Quick Setup Guide" and the Troubleshooting and Upgrade Guides are very generic and really not model specific. The getting started guide is just a How to use Windows 8 or 7 operating system, you have to figure out all the bells, whistles, hookup socket, panel lights yourself no model specific guide for the important stuff.
And another very major drawback is the BIOS/UEFI is locked down by HP and it has a HP OEM motherboard which you can not update the BIOS/UEFI. I bought a HP ENVY this June and am very sorry for it. Wish I had bought a ASUS now, I'm not familiar with ACER equipment, but I have bought a HP ENVY laptop and desktop both this year along with a Toshiba laptop, the Toshiba laptop is a much better and higher quality product with more unlocked user controls.
