Hi guys I need some advise. I just ordered all new parts for a computer since my motherboard got fried and I ran out of money and am stuck with my 2 old cards.

Old graphic cards are geforce 8600 gts x2

New comp is
Gigabyte z77 with SLI/crossfire.
Cpu i7 920.
8 ram corsair vengeanc ddr3
New hard drive TB , psu 600w, and windows 7.

I can maybe only afford 90$ right now for a graphics card.

Will my 2 8600gts work just fine? Or is there something else I can buy to beat what I have that's under 100$

More about : computer graphic card

Isn't the mobo LGA 1155 while the CPU is LGA 1366?

Your build has bigger problems than the GPUs.

Exactly which motherboard and processor do you have? The Z77 chipset is for socket 1155 and the Intel CoreI7-920 is a socket 1366 processor (incompatible). The graphic cards will work fine (low performance, but they'll work). It's the CPU/Motherboard you should be worried about.

Yes, that setup is not going to work.

Keep the motherboard, go with a Core i5-3570K.
