I've been running Dual EVGA GTX 460 SSC's in SLI for the last 3 years. And I've loved it. But recently, I've been noticing microstutter more and more often as drivers get newer and newer. So I'm thinking of upgrading. I currently have a $200 budget and am looking for a video card. I've recently found a pair of GTX 670's that look enticing and was wondering if purchasing one of them would do me better than the 460's or would I be dropping my performance at all?

Sell the 2 GTX 460 and buy a GTX 970 ($330), you will have much better experience with single GPU and it consumes significantly less energy. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

And with the single GTX 670 you should have about the same or better performance than your dual GTX 470.

While the GTX 970 would be awesome to have, I don't have the $330 to spend. The $200 would be coming from selling the GTX 460's. As currently on Ebay a single card will run about $100.

I just need to know if i am gonna take a performance hit going the 670 route.
