Hi, I am new to this 'overclocking' process, and I would like to know what the benefits are. Is it better performance, FPS, altogether? My pc plays games at a decent FPS (Depending on the graphics and texture, medium and low settings is the highest I can go), but it hangs a little bit (runs slow). I heard overclocking increases performance and fps rate so I can play at a higher quality and performance with no lag or lag spikes at all, at least that's what I heard the benifits are - I would like to overclock my processor to 4GHz (idk if thats bad), and my cpu..
