I currently have a Sony Viao, and I busted the switch that turns wireless capability off and on.

I was wondering if there was a way to enable it manualy? (Windows 7)

There is usually a way to do it in software. Do you have stock software in it? Is there a mobile control panel? If not can you see the wifi device in Device Manager? If you can uniinstall it and refresh to reinstall it. If you need a drive have it available.

This is all good unless the switch electrically disconnects the wifi internal card. If so then you may not. Then it's a matter of physically bypassing switch or get a usb wifi adapter.

Hi there Hardc0r4Br0n3!

Have you tried Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings?

The instructions above are from Windows 8, Windows 7 might be a bit different, I'm not sure.

Let me know how things work out! :)
