SLI 980s...but I would hope you were doing triple 4k monitors with that. I would wait and see if a 990 might comes out because that would rock.

The problem im having with those is... they are brand new, theres no waterblock support which would be fine except there no non-reference cards which means no non-reference coolers... anything else?

Just wait for the non reference coolers to come out. It should only take a couple of months...if that. If you want the GPU setup now, then I would say to get an R9295x2.

Best solution, Wait... Otherwise. I'm assuming your going for 4k? The R9 295x2... if you had just a tad more money I'd say get two 780 ti's..

So best bet is to either wait 2 or so weeks so things start flooding the streets again, or go ahead and buy a R9 295x2...

I would get three GTX 970's over two 980s. EVGA has the SSC model on the 970s and it performs around a gtx 780ti level. 1000 dollars for 3 of them. 1100 for two of the 980s.
