old pc game

I can't remember the name of this old pc game I played as a kid. it was around the 2000's. I just remember running around as a red chicken and you go through levels like a haunted house and space. You also shot the enemy's with a ray gun I believe. Someone help!

I remember Whacked!, it was one of the games that was part of the Xbox Live beta along with one of the motorcycle racing games. Wish I could find my orange dongle for the headset, might be worth a little bit.

As to the game it sounds like Crash Bandicoot a bit. A little more information if it can be recalled might be helpful.
