That is indeed a good question, I would assume so? GTX 780 Ti, 780, 770, 760, Titan, 680, 670, 660Ti, 660, 580, 570, 560Ti, 560, 560SE
If it can support that wide of a range it might, but I wouldnt put money on it. Only way to know is to wait for NZXT to let us know, or have someone try it.

Dude, I seriously have the same question. I've been looking all day. I've been wanting a kraken g10 on a 780ti in the build I'm planning on. With the new 980's and x99 chipset and ddr4 ram, and the new Intel processors to go with, shits a headache right now. If you find an answer let me know, because I want to keep my build on the cheap, and liquid cooling with a g10 is perfect for my budget. (planning on a dual closed loop cooling system for CPU and gpu individually) may gaben be with you. Http://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace

There's a check compatibility tab on the right hand side just right underneath buy now tab. I've tried searching gtx 980 and apparently that works but sorry to say that 970 doesn't seem to work. Though this info comes from their website, I wouldn't lock on gtx 980 just yet. I don't trust that tab. I guess I'll wait for their actual list to be reviewed and then I'll decide.

I just checked the evga 970 w/ACX cooler is NOT compatible. This is the only 970 evga offered in the step up program from a 770.. seeing that all I need is the toothed round part of the g10 bracket I already baught, modifying it to fit should be very simple with all the sheet metal I have....

The issue I see with this is that the VRM layout on the 970 and 980 is spread out more than you would see on a 780 or a 290. If you look at the thermal pads on stock and aftermarket solutions, you can see the area of the VRM cooling required. Looking at the parts, you can see there are no push pins to mount anything, plus the VRM modules are not such that you could use tape or epoxy to get contact, you would need a thermal pad, but there is no way to mount it.
With VRM temps running into the 90s on out of the box solutions with cooling solutions attached, I don't know it would be all to recommendable to run this particular card without any VRM cooling. Perhaps re-using a plate/shim on a card that comes with one might be an option?
I have yet to see anyone actually install the G10 onto one of these cards to test VRM temps, but I would think that it is going to be more of an issue than it was a 780 but with more difficult to cool VRM parts.
I am looking to upgrade a 290 to a 970, but only if I can overclock it using the G10/X31 configuration I already have. The 290 was easy to get VRM heatsinks on, as there is a kit you can pickup and while you don't need it at stock, to overclock it, you really really do.
Hopefully someone will upload some info soon, or I might just pull the trigger and upload my results. I really like the 970, but mostly only if I can overclock the pants off it.

my plan is to get strix version and to stick with its cooling for now. kinda like the backplate on it xD maybe theyll find some easy solution for this. actually.. i have nzxt phantom 410 case, the ability of it to have a fan inside the case might be able to help with this. do you think that this would solve that problem if anything?

Not to scare you or anything, but your computer seems to be running without a PSU...
