One of my friends bought a computer from a guy on craigslist (seller not responding to emails etc), looked decent and worked just fine for a while, but now as title says it hangs during shutdown, and has to be hard shut down. The GPU does shut down (TV input off) but it hangs on something.
In addition when restarting it takes 2+ starts for it to be able to actually start. Presumably I believe it is either the Mobo or PSU, but want to ask more knowledgeable folks first before recommending anything. And would just switching out parts be the easiest way to diagnose this?
