gigabyte H61M -H2-B3 mobo.

I am using a gigabyte H61M -H2-B3 mobo. i just want to ask that can it fully operate i5 3450 and R9 270X? coz somebody told me that it cannot give me the full potential of the i5 and the gpu! please help. I am strict on budget!

You may need to update the BIOS in order to run that CPU on the motherboard but yes you can use both the CPU and GPU listed on that board

i did it by my own but thanks anyway! But as I am an outdated person can you tell me how to check if the bios is latest or not.?
ps- i used dxdiag and cupid cpu z but can't determine if the bios got updated or not!

oh are you already running this setup? Sorry if it is already up and running fine for you then you dont need to do anything, your CPU, GPU, and motherboard are working fine together.

Just to let you know though in CPU-Z if you go to your mainboard tab in the middle there will be a section stating your current BIOS revision

like I said if you are already running it then there is nothing to worry about, nothing is holding anything back in this case as long as it works

i am not using it! i am using it with a pentium G620! I will buy those two(3450 & 270x) tommorow! And when i am trying to update the bios the flash stops working!
