I5 4690k vs etc

hello guys ...
im really confused to upgrade my pc... just for gaming

im looking for I5 4690k
i want to know about this processor and wanna know also this which motherboard will be better with this ... and my friend also saying amd is better then intel.... he is saying go for fx8350
someone also saying amd has too much heating prob ......

and i7 4770k ..... if i will go for it then it will worth money for buy it or not?

its too much confusing to thinking which one should i buy ...

For games only the 4690k is the best cpu it is better than the 8350 in 99% of games.

The 4790k is also a quad core cpu but has hyper threading so it acts like an eight core. If you are doing rendering or stuff like that it's a great choice but for gaming it's not needed.

4690k once OCed leaps ahead of FX 8 by a margin, i7 is of no use over i5 in gaming. I'd go with i5

Definitely stick with the 4690k and get an asrock extreme 4 z97 motherboard to go with it.

What is the budget? You'll need new Motherboard and possibly new RAM if the current one is DDR2. Also, GPU is really weak you'll need to upgrade it.

Will you be OverClocking? You'll need an af CPU cooler for that.

OC (overclocking) is to increase the clock speed of CPU (in i5 4690k say from 3.5GHz to 4.5GHz stable), you need a 'K' CPU, 'Z' MoBo and an aftermarket CPU cooler for that. What is the total CPU-GPU-MoBo budget?

Yes will work great together intel cpu can run anything and it will do a great job. As for the board the aforementioned asrock extreme4 is very solid installed one in my brothers rig a little while bac with this same cpu and it's doing great.

No problem AT ALL. Both AMD and Nvidia cards are good for both Intel and AMD. the memory is fine.

EXTREME 4 is a better MoBo but sadly not in your budget. G43 is not a weak MoBo though.
