i am planning to buy i5 4690k pro, i am looking for a good and budget gaming motherboard , i have found two mobo asus z97a and ASRock Z97 Extreme4 please advice anyother mobo ? if any
What sort of features are you looking for? Is form factor important to you? I assume since you're going for the k-series you'll want a board with overclocking features?
Sorry it is i5 4690k processor & i am looking for gaming motherboard but i dont want to overclock i want to use single GPU ill b using r9 280x and i want m.2 slot 1 (PCIe/SATA) support too with usb 3.0 boost support or 5 way optimization can u explain me little but epu n tpu support& digi phase & want a good quality sound too
You'll get the M.2 and all other features in both MoBos, 5 way optmization is for OCing, Digi phases is for OCing too, both have good enough phases for the CPU. Both MoBos pack a decently powerful sound card.
if i wanna go down like little less on price ? apart frm these mobo anyother budget mobo without overclocking and good for gaming so that i can spend tht money on a gpu or other things ??
ok thanx buddy just one last question can u tell me the diffrence between two things that z97a having a m.2 1pcie n z97pro having m.2 1 (PCIe/SATA) & which is better does asrock extreme 4 having m.2 slot ?
The M.2 in Pro supports M.2 through SATA while its only through PCIe in A and EX4. Also, the MoBo Mike suggested has only 4 power phases, not good enough for an i5 IMO. Also, you'll loose out the potential to OC completely if ever you wanted to do it with H MoBos.
