All,
I recently purchased a 295x2, replacing 2 x 680's (SLI'd) expecting huge performance increases which on the whole I got apart from WOW.
Now it would seem there is an issue with AMD supporting opengl / direct x9, so I did some digging and playing and found the following, which I hope will help people.
* WOW in direct x9 on AMD (certainly the 14.4 & 14.8) doesn't work correctly, flashing, corrupted screen etc.
* WOW in direct x11 you don't get the eyefinity resolutions listed
* Using WOW, direct x11 and windowed full screen mode gives you the desired result, however my FPS was way down at 25 - 30fps
* Using WOW, direct x11 and windowed full screen mode and then changing the resolution to another "wide" resolution whilst in game increases FPS. So I started out at the highest "wide" resolution and decreased to the lowest (exactly the same level of detail and viewing angles are displayed in either) and my FPS went from 25 - 30 to 70 - 120. So in changed to the highest res again and got 40 - 70 FPS. Restarting the game at any wide resolution dropped the FPS back to 25 - 30 until reset within the game again. This will probably change on the next drivers but hopefully help some people out.
*NOTE: WOW doesn't utilise crossfire in direct x11, windowed full screen mode (or at least I couldn't get it work by changing the various crossfire settings).
