Hey,

Is the Intel i3-3210 (on M/B: DH61WW with 4GB RAM) fine to pair with GTX 750 Ti for moderate gaming?

If it's a good match, do I need to upgrade the PSU despite 750 Ti is a power efficient graphic card? This is the current casing I have ~ http://leapfroglobal.com/powerlogic/computer-casing/azz...

Appreciate any expert advice :)

Yep - they'll work well together. You'll need a good quality 400+W power supply.

Yes, the Intel i3-3210 will bottleneck your system regardless of the video card you are using. Any PC gamer that is serious about their hobby should NOT be using a dual-core CPU anymore, regardless of whether or not it has hyper threading. I highly recommend you upgrade to a Core i5 quad-core processor at minimum. If your wallet is thick, then I recommend upgrading to a Core i7 hexacore or octacore. Also, upgrade your memory to a minimum of 8GB if you are running a 64-bit OS. You may want to upgrade your power supply if you upgrade to quad-core CPU and double up your memory. But, your system should be okay as long as you stick with the GTX750Ti.

Thanks for your quick responses. I was wondering if I could keep the same PSU as this review implied a 250W PSU can handle 750 Ti as well ~ http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Graphics-Cards/Upgrade-Sto...

Yes, I would definitely upgrade your power supply to at least a 500 Watt unit. I didn't realize that the OEM power supply included with that prebuilt system was only 250 Watts - oops.

Thanks again :)  Definitely upgrading the PSU. Unfortunately, NewEgg doesn't available for my country (but eBay), neither many popular PSU brands. The PSUs around here are over $120 (FSP > $120 and Corsair > $160) and others such as Cooler Master < 420W too.

Is this a good choice to consider? ~ http://www.fsplifestyle.com/product.php?LID=1&PSN=1002

Oh alright! Unfortunately, I couldn't find a good and affordable PSU mentioned in the list around here. Guess I have to hold on for the GPU upgrade. Thanks.

See Tom's build - http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/budget-gaming-pc,38... - i3 with gtx770

Nope - read the article again. Tom's changed their minds and went with a AMD Athlon X4 750K and MSI R7 265 2GD5 OC 2 GB for their budget system. The AMD Athlon X4 750K is a quad core CPU. Both the other mid and high tier systems they built had either a Core i5 or Core i7.

Thanks for pointing it out, NWG. I guess he referred to this one (which I found while reading through the link i7Baby suggested in the first place) ~ http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/build-your-own-budg...

UPDATE: After hours and hours of searching and visiting local stores, I could find a good PSU: Antec VP450 (Listed in Tier 2 Class B) :)  Thank you so much i7Baby and NWG for your time and help.
