Hey guys, I'm looking to change my current system and purchase a new one.
My current system is :
Intel i3 530 cpu @2.93 GHz
2 GB of RAM
500 GB HDD
Integrated Intel HD graphics...

My needs for the new system would be to be able to handle video editing ( still learning so i don't really need and don't even have the budget for a proper workstation ) and play a few games such as FIFA and if possible then GTA V. ( Gaming is not a priority, my budget it )

My new system which I've decided to purchase is as follows :
Intel i5 4670 cpu @3.4 GHz
16 GB of 4X4 RAM
2X Samsung 120 GB SSD + 500 GB HDD
ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti-2GB DDR5 (ZT-70601-10M) Graphics Card
Asus Z87-K Mobo...

Q1- Is my system good enough for my needs?
Q2- Do I NEED the gpu or will the intel HD 4600 suffice?

Extra: I will be running windows 8.1 on my new system and i currently run windows 7..
Edit : I would be editing and gaming on a 1080p monitor.

Firstly, a few words of advice:
For a rendering based build, a FX 8 will be better than i5 in most cases due to 8 'logical' cores. I'd go for an AMD build here, its pocket friendly as well.
Secondly, HD 4600 would suffice for something like purely rendering PC but not for ANY modern games, the one you wished to play included.

I've read many people complaining about the AMD FX series overheating and thus requiring a separate cooling system.
If I go for that, I'd be buying the FX 8320 or the 8350.
What graphic card would go well with that?

Any gpu will be good, depends on your budget, 750 ti would be a good compliment.
