If I was to get this CPU to replace my i3-2100 and try to put it in a Micro Atx case, what cpu cooler should I get or should I just overclock what I can with default cooler? Also what is the easiest way to overclock this CPU?

Thanks

You can't overclock with a stock cooler - it'll get too hot. In a mATX case you'll need a low profile cooler eg NH-L9i - 37mm high.

Overclocking - Test 4GhZ and see how much voltage you need to keep it stable. You can then see if you can overclock the multiplier more without increasing the voltage too much pass 1.3V. If you have to go over 1.4V that should be your maximum overclock. You want your voltage ideally under 1.4 V. Temperature should be under 80C as well.

Keep in mind, when it comes to overclocking I have absolutely NO clue.

Try the ASRock Anniversay one - made for the G3258 - about $80 at Newegg from memory.

Sorry but I am not looking in to getting a new motherboard at the moment.

EDIT: Also I have a micro-atx case at the moment.
