Hey everyone, i just recently finished my second build with the help of the community. I went with water cooling this time around but I am getting extremely odd temps. here is my temps idle: http://imgur.com/T5UKyJ4 (33 degrees Celsius). The temps jump up to 192 degrees + while running Aida64. I need help, what should I do?

192 degrees? At that temp your cpu would be absolutely cooked there is no way that is correct. Check using a different software

I have, I also checked using CPUID. I only tested for about five seconds so it wasn't there for long

Is this in fahrenheit or celsius? I assumed celsius this is a worldwide forum and celsius is the standard unit. At 192C your cpu is cooked but at 192F (88C) its just hot. Is the cooler seated properly and the pump working?

You sure it's measuring in C? That would be around 88F which would still be too high for an AIO. Reseat your water block. Make sure you do not have too much thermal grease - or to little. Just a small bead on the center of the CPU is enough. Try reseating the raditor. Even gently move it around while running to make sure there are no trapped air bubble. There shouldn't be but it's possible. Also make sure that the block's PWM controller is correctly attached to the CPU fan header. If you manually attached the fans to the radiator make sure they are blowing in the same direction. My opinion on that is to have the draw in air from the outside rather than pull the hot air from the inside. (I'm assuming that you have other fans exhausting air from the enclosure).

Yes, I'm sorry. 192 degrees Fahrenheit. I never seen temps reach that high so I got scared when I saw the numbers. I'm going to reseat/reapply thermal paste in a couple hours. Hopefully that will help. if not I might purchase the h105 or the NH-D15

I have the fans set to take in cool air. The two other fans in the case are the stock Enthoo pro fans. All the fans are pretty loud. I can't make them silent no matter how far down I tune them. I tried multiple programs Corsair Link, Asus suite..etc but they all stay at the same speed. Maybe it's a MOBO issue? (Maximus Hero VII)

It shouldn't be that hot, if you reseat and it doesn't fix the problem try and see if the pump is working. It might be malfunctioning you could return it if it is in warranty. I got confused because you switched from celsius to fahrenheit halfway through, dw about it just keep it in mind that most of the world uses celsius

I know, I just got scared seeing 192 degrees. I did not realize the metric until you brought it up. Luckily you guys are here to calm me down lol

My h100i mounted on an ASUS Z97-Pro needed some washers on the mounting plate. See if you can wiggle the pump and if it's a little loose. This could be why you're getting high temperatures - it's not making good contact with the CPU. You can buy some Nylon washers and put them between the back of the mobo and the back mount. Here's some more information about the nylon washers.
