Will Thermaltake 550W Light support R9 280X

The Sapphire R9 280X required 750W as stated thru their specs..but i already have a Thermaltake 550W Light so will this psu be good enough for the GPU.

please help me,i'm confused.

Scroll down to the AMD Radeon section on the link and you'll see that a 550W PSU will do just ok (check for the 8pin and 6pin, and the "30A" for amperage capability in your PSU).

But I would recommend a more cappable PSU, like a Bronze/Silver PSU with 600/650 wattage , so you don't compromise your whole pc, just saying.

Your Thermaltake Light gives up to 550W with a 70% efficiency, so if the rest of your PC's specs don't cosume too much power, it's ok, but have in mind that compared to the PSUs I'm telling you there's almost a 150W gap. It's up to you.
