Hi friends,

I've completely build a new config.

After mounting and plugging everything, when I start the computer I've got some Bip errors.

The sound comes out from the BIOS i guess and it does something like this ;
bip - bip,bip
bip - bip,bip
bip - bip,bip
etc...

It should comes from the graphic card i guess, which is new.
It's a MSI Twin Frozr GTX 760 :
http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N760_TF_2GD5OC.html

The motherboard is an Asus Maximus Hero VI

Any ideas of what can I do to start using the whole machine :)  ?

Any tips are welcome :
Thank you !

check the bios rev of the mb it the last four number of the mb lable. the newest bios is 1603. if your bios is a few rev old use the usb flashback port and update the bios. to rule out a dead short or issue remove the gpu and one stick of ram leave one stick in and see if the mb posts fine from onboard. if your still getting that sound look to see if you plugged in the 8 pin power on the edge of the mb and make sure the mb sitting on top of case standoffs and not shorted out.

I'll check the rev of bios when I'll be at home (in a few minutes/hours)

For the pluggin :
The graphic card is connected to the PSU through only one cable :
one, that split in two cables : 1 of 6+2 pins and one of 6 pins.

The PSU is a Corsair CS650M :
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Maybe i should use the two pins of the PSU instead of one ?
Here's the back and pins of the PSU :

Yo,

It's plugged in the 6+2 PCI-E port.

On the motherboard, the last 4 numbers are : 1301.

On the motherboard, the graphic card is plugged into the PCIE_X16/X8_1

What should I do then ? :(

pull the gpu for now and see if the pc posts fine. if it does check that the eight pin is locked in fine on the mb and make sure there no wires being sucked in to the gpu/cpu or power supply fans.

with the card out if you got the sound then it not the video card.
do this in order.
unplug power to your hard drive...turn on system....if there no beep noise power down and plug back in..if the sound is there again then depending on how loud it is could be a bad hard drive.
drive is unplugged at there a beep sound. unplug case fans one at a time till the sound stops. if the sound still there then take the mb out of the case and with just the power supply and mb turn the mb on with it sitting ontop of the bax it came with ontop of the mb box. if there no beep sound then...look to see if the mb shorting out on the io shield or missing case standoff.

if you want to you can download the last bios file as your bios was 1301. expand it to a usb stick and go into the bios and use the bios updater tool to update the bios.

UPDATE :
I've switched the RAM from the red DIMM to the black one.
I don't have that kind of BEEP at start.

Now, I only have on the MB this QCODES :
00, then >>99, then >>AE and it then stay on d7.

What mean d7 ?

Can you help friends?

a2 per the mb user guild is ide detect. sounds like you may have a bad cd rom or hard drive or a bad cable. try unplugging the hard drive first from the system see if the q code changes. then the cd rom. if there no change use the usb flashback tool and put the newest bios file on the mb.

Everything is solved.
Grab another DVD of Windows. Set the Sata to AHCI.
