-I have a Nvidia GTX 780, I'm not overclocking, with the latest drivers.

-I also have an ASUS VG278HE monitor

-I use windows 7

The problem is that white specs hover over text and images on my screen, but when I scroll the specs move with the text and images, so I do not think that the monitor has dead pixels. Additionally every-time I try and play a high demanding PC game my computer crashes to the desktop, I.E. BF4, Dead rising 3, Sniper Elite 3. I get an error message along the lines of "DirectX function GetdeviceRemovedReason failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG". I can play low demanding games without crashing though.

This started after updating my GTX 780 drivers using Nvidia experience and then playing BF4, the game briefly crashed with the above error message. And even after I back-rolled the drivers the problem still persists. This is really annoying and worrisome, my computer is only about 7-8 months old.

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

Sounds like either a driver issue or a faulty card. You can try reinstalling direct x too. I would use the drivers on the GPU CD as you know they work
