Thanks for the answer!
Well, I already checked that out, along with other sites, but the oil they used is called "White Mineral Oil from STE Oil called "Crystal Plus 70T"". It's very good I heard, but they only sell it in the US, and well, a gallon of it would probably cost me more in shipping than actual oil.
I know it's expensive, but Im probably moving the build into a mATX housing, to further reduce the amount of oil required. I just want to know if it would work really :)

Thanks!

An oil cooled solution is quite expensive, especially when paired with an old, low end system as you have described above.

Problems with oil tank cooling:
Expense
Weight - better build it exactly where you want it, because you can't move that tank later
Capillary action - It has been seen that the oil will seep up through the wires. Come home, and find your mouse is peeing mineral oil all over.
Heat - With a regular system, you're using the whole room (or house) air mass to cool the system. With an oil tank, you're just using that small tank. After a few hours, you now have a tank of 60C mineral oil. Somehow, you have to get the heat out of that.
Performance - You're not really gaining anything. Especially starting with an old system like that.

Just about all systems I've read about, the builder says something along the lines of "Yeah, it was fun to make. Would not do it again"

Thanks for the info!
Trust me, I know what I'm getting into. I know it will be expensive, but I'd just spend around 40 eu on mineral oil and some components (case, a Corsair VS350 (the generic PSUs make me cringe), and fans). Heating won't be a problem, or atleast i THINK. If it would be, I know exactly what to do.
I know about the oil coming down on wires, but I also read how to stop it (by putting small like collars around the wire, to prevent it from going forward). and so on.
Performance wise, I guess I'm loosing more than gaining haha :D, since it wont be usable afterwards.
The only reason why I'm getting into this is to make a show piece, to do something cool with and old system.

So... any other suggestions for oil? :D

Most deffinetely!
If I'll start doing this, I will make a build log on Overclockers.com. I'll share a link here.

Also, thanks for all the help so far, I'll choose best answer when I find something suitable.

However, I am a bit tied with school, so if I start this, it'll have to be a weekend project more or less.

Thanks guys!

Two years ago I built a small home server using cheap (mainly second-hand) components. It is still running.

Mineral oil was expensive so I used sunflower oil (cheapest oil I could find that didn't smell).

The server had to be really quiet, but I built a small pump and a kind of heat exchanger using the aquarium cover.
I also tried an aquarium air pump, not bad but measuring performance differences was impossible because the PC didn't produce enough heat.

No creeping problems.
